Gorkem Vardar
I am a PhD student at Ontario Tech University, working in the Affective Data Science Lab under the supervision of Dr. Steven Livingstone. My research explores the effects of different types emotions on human physiology such as heart, respiration and muscle activity. During my MSc studies, I developed a novel exact solution method for a multi-stage robust optimization problem by using column and constraint generation technique. In my spare time, I enjoy hobbies such as sailing, hiking, and swimming.
