News for International students
In October 2024, Canada introduced changes to its International Student Program, capping the number of study permits for two years. Beginning in 2024, the number of study permits issued will drop by 35 per cent, and reduced a further 10% in 2025. That level will be maintained for 2026. Master’s and doctoral students, previously exempt, will be folded into the capped numbers in 2025, but will have 12 per cent of spots reserved just for them. My province of Ontario is particularly effected by these caps. You can read more about these changes here and here.
Due of these changes I am not recruiting international students.
